Winding mountain roads, incredible scenery, great people and let's not forget the evenings sampling wines in the Hunter Valley and dining on the best Australian gourmet foods. Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive Sydney. Our tour starts with a day to savour the sights and sounds of Sydney, one of the World’s most scenic cities. It’s a great place to start your tour – Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Bondi Beach, ferry boats to Manly, not to mention the sports and nightlife, are just for starters.
DAY 2 Sydney – Kangaroo Valley. Grab a taxi to our rental location, and your adventure starts in earnest. You starts with a ride to the Royal National Park, one of Sydney’s favourite playgrounds over the century. Then it’s off to Stanwell on the coast for lunch at Hargreaves before climbing the tops to see the hang gliders and birds in action on the 200 m cliffs. The afternoon ride along the coast road offers many fine views while negotiating the bends. Hopefully the blowhole at Kiama will give you a good show, before you ride through lovely countryside, huge valleys and quaint villages before arriving in secluded and serene Kangaroo Valley.
 DAY 3 Kangaroo Valley - Blue Mountains. Start the day with a ride to Fitzroy Falls, named after one of the great British explorers of the 19th century. Then ride to the Southern Highlands, with its lush landscapes and quaint villages such as Berrima, an unspoilt example of a small Australian town in the 1830s. This is an area that was among the first to be settled by Europeans. Ride past Abercrombie River National Park and Mt Werong to the Blue Mountains and you begin to realise why pioneers chose this area when heading out from Sydney. Enjoy the incredible scenery, huge waterfalls and the second largest canyon on Earth before dinner.
DAY 4 Blue Mountains – Hawkesbury Valley. This morning is spent sightseeing in the Blue Mountains - Three Sisters, Wentworth Falls, cable car rides, lovely walks through the lush, 'blue' bushland from which the area gets its name, and plenty of scenic outlooks. Today’s route is a circular ride.
DAY 5 Blue Mountains – Hunter Valley. Get up early because there’s more spectacular riding. Take the winding back road past the gorges of Wollemi National Park. Visit the renowned Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens for lunch. From the restaurant the Putty Road, one of Australia's most exciting biking roads, takes you to your accommodation in Hunter Valley. There’s time for an optional wine-tasting tour or just take it easy, you are just a short taxi ride from some of the area’s famous restaurants and wineries.
DAY 6 Hunter Valley - Sydney. It's time to head back, but there's still plenty to see. Your ride back takes you along the Hawkesbury Valley, through breathtaking native landscapes, meandering along the Old Pacific Highway before picking up the main road to take you back into Sydney. Return your motorcycle and the rest of the day is yours.
DAY 7 Sydney. Your tour is well and truly over, and it’s time to head back to the airport, or on to your next adventure, with some fantastic memories.
